WNBA: Truth Hurts

If you get your feelings hurt easily, you should probably move along. If you don’t like the truth because it doesn’t fit what your beliefs and feelings are, you should probably move along. I simply don’t give a shit. These are truths, and nobody, even your parents give a shit about this fitting your narrative.

I’m all for making rookies go through it. Get tough, get stronger, and get better. However, what we saw this past weekend was none of that. It wasn’t within the parameters of the game. It wasn’t within a play or anything. It was a blindside shot while the ball was out of bounds. That isn’t how you make someone go through the rookie hazing. That isn’t basketball, and before you argue that point, I’ve made it further in sports than you, so your wrong opinion is worth less than what I flush down a toilet. If you wanna welcome them in the league by being physical and tough, by all means, but that wasn’t it. That was coward shit. Then Carter was asked and said she wasn’t going to answer any questions about Clark, which I’m cool with, until she ran straight to her phone and that’s what she wanted to talk about on Social Media. No, either stand on who you are or shut up, because you are weak-minded and have dangerously low intelligence. Then she tried to take away from Clark’s ability with her little post. You’ve shown us who you are Carter, and have proven you’re an awful, useless human being. She isn’t tough or some martyr. She’s a weak coward. Clark is a better basketball player, a better woman, a better daughter, a better friend, and an overall better human who is handling this better than you ever could. We are talking more about the game than ever, which is a good thing, and the entire league isn’t like this. It’s just a few losers who think they are better than they are.

Now, you want real facts? Again, look away if you don’t like actual FACTS.

The Indiana Fever’s total attendance for the entire 2023 season was 81,336. Their attendance through the first five games since Caitlin hit the court was 82,857. That’s the most in the WNBA. What about when the Fever hit the road? The record for the highest attendance at a WNBA game was set this season by the Los Angeles Sparks with 19,103. Take a wild guess who the Sparks shared the court with that day…..that’s right…Clark and the Fever. Now ask me about their road games. Indiana averages a league-high 15,315 fans per game on the road. The team’s total away attendance of 91,891 people is more than double the next-highest total by any team. A portion of this is because Clark’s opponents are moving to bigger arenas or making their upper levels available to sell more tickets. Let’s not even mention TV ratings, but they’re having an incredible increase over previous seasons and have broken almost every viewership record since the WNBA began. It’s ok to admit that the white girl from Iowa is going to bring the WNBA more into relevance. It’s not a bad thing, it’s real, and everyone will benefit from it. Those are REAL numbers with REAL facts. Of course there are plenty of other talented women in that league that are helping this cause, but they ironically don’t have the same numbers that I just mentioned above. Don’t like it, cry somewhere else with other stupid people. Not my problem. Not to mention…nobody will do a damn thing about what I had to say. Google is free if you wanna play.
