The Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2023

Last night we found out who will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame for the class of 2023 in August during the induction ceremonies in Canton, Ohio.

Don Coryell – Head Coach – He was with the Cardinals from 1973-77 and the Chargers from 1978-86. Don was instrumental in the development of the passing game and how routes were run, among other things.

Chuck Howley – LB – Chuck was with the Bears in 1958-59 and the Cowboys from 1961-73. He is most known for still being the only player to be named Super Bowl MVP from the losing team when he had 2 interceptions in the Cowboy’s loss in Super Bowl V.

Joe Klecko – DT – Jets 1977-87; Colts 1988. Klecko was named to the Pro Bowl at three different positions.

Ken Riley – CB – Riley spent his entire career with the Bengals from 1969-83. He is tied for 5th all-time in interceptions.

Ronde Barber – CB – He also spent his entire career with one team and it was the Buccaneers from 1997-2012. Ronde was a 5x Pro Bowl selection and didn’t miss a single game in his final 15-years which might be one of his most impressive stats, especially in today’s game. He finished his career with 47 interceptions.

Zach Thomas – LB – Dolphins 1996-2007; Cowboys 2008. He had an amazing 10 seasons with 100 tackles and was named 1st Team All-Pro five times.

Darrelle Revis – CB – He finished his career having been on four teams total with a few stints with the Jets in 2007-12 and then again in 2015-16. Revis also spent time with the Bucs in 2013, the Patriots in 2014, and the Chiefs in 2017. He was part of the New England Patriots Super Bowl winning team for Super Bowl XLIX. Darrelle is best know for his first time around with the Jets where he was an All-Pro from 2009-11.

DeMarcus Ware – LB – DeMarcus was with the Cowboys in 2005-13 and the Broncos from 2014-16. He won a Super Bowl to finish the 2015 season with the Denver Broncos and is ranked 9th all-time in sacks.

Joe Thomas – LT – It is very well documented how he’s spent his entire career with the Cleveland Browns from 2007-17. Joe was named to the Pro Bowl 10 times. He stuck around despite being one of the elites at his position and his loyalty to the Browns organization and the community is second to none, and it will show in Canton in August, just an hour south of where he played his entire NFL career.
