Whether you’re a business of 2 or 200,000, getting the TEAMWORK right is imperative. This can be the difference between a bunch of fires and bickering, and everyone going in different directions which is never good; or everyone working as a cohesive unit making meetings more productive and projects tightened up with a better chance of success. To accomplish the good side, everyone needs to understand the assignment of being on the same page and if they’re not, speak up, hold accountability, and the ones unwilling need to be set aside. A lot of times, communication can clear up when teamwork is on point. Teamwork and communication go hand-in-hand. Find your team captains and cultivate those people. Of course we can’t move on from this subject without the age old, “TEAM = Together Everyone Accomplishes More.”

Everyone’s planning habits are different, and nobody’s is more right than someone else’s, especially if it works for each individual or company. I personally do most of my planning on Sunday evening. That is when my mind is most refreshed. That’s why, and when I use that time to map out my upcoming week, brainstorm ideas, and create. It makes my week seem to go as smooth as it possibly can, even with life’s random surprises. I implore you to set aside time for brainstorming and the better worded brain-dumping. You’ll be surprised how this can also boost your organization both physically and mentally moving forward. Now we can add the two subjects from this week’s newsletter and imagine this… You nail down great teamwork and get your planning locked down with a routine. Now we can go one step further and plan as a team and watch the blast off of growth start to light up.
