Ohio State Vs Michigan: A Lifetime Perspective

We all know that Michigan is the defending national champions of college football, and winners of the last three against their rival, the Ohio State Buckeyes. We aren’t going to talk about cheating and whatnot. That’s not what this article is about. This is about reality of success in our lifetime between the two bitter rivals, and it’s not what one side would like to think or believe, but it’s fact. Yes, the Wolverines lead the all-time series of the greatest rivalry in all of sports. However, I think with the recent success of TTUN, we are all missing what EVERY SINGLE PERSON alive has seen and needs to realize. So, to help out the sad Buckeyes fans and the overly arrogant Michigan fans by showing them how it’s really been all of our entire lives.

If you were born in 2003 and are 20 years old, you’ve seen this series go 15-5 in favor of Ohio State.

If you were born in 1993 and are 30 years old, you’ve seen this series go 19-11 in favor of Ohio State.

If you were born in 1983 and are 40 years old, you’ve seen this series go 21-18-1 in favor of Ohio State.

If you were born in 1973 and are 50 years old, you’ve seen this series go 26-22-2 in favor of Ohio State.

If you were born in 1963 and are 60 years old, you’ve seen this series go 32-26-2 in favor of Ohio State.

If you were born in 1953 and are 70 years old, you’ve seen this series go 39-29-2 in favor of Ohio State.

We would have to keep going for the record to switch the other direction, but I decided to stop at 100, but there probably isn’t anyone alive old enough to turn the tide and if there is, they are probably in the Guinness Book of World Records, and truthfully…I don’t care about anything from over 100 years ago. I like to worry and argue about stuff within my lifetime and more notably things I’ve actually remembered and witnessed myself whether in-person, on TV, or in its entirety. Sorry folks…it is what it is. So, Buckeye Nation that is still alive; you folks are good. It may have been a rough few years, but in your lifetime, you’re good, still THE winner, and nothing beyond that really holds any weight…Not to me. I don’t care about way back when nobody existed.
