NFL: Week 17 Power Rankings

We are down to one week of the 2023 NFL regular season and the playoffs are starting to take shape. We have some more clinchers from last week’s rankings. We will do one more power rankings next week to release as we head into Wild Card weekend after that, and then after that we will focus on the actual NFL playoffs as a whole. Here is this week’s edition of our NFL Power Rankings.

  1. Baltimore Ravens – 13-3 – The Ravens have officially clinched the AFC North and the number one seed in the AFC earning themselves a first round bye. This past week they absolutely dominated the Miami Dolphins 56-19. Baltimore has now won six straight.

  2. San Francisco 49ers – 12-4 – The 49ers have officially clinched the NFC West and the number one seed in the NFC earning themselves a first round bye as well. They went on the road this past week and defeated the Washington Commanders 27-10 to get back into the winner’s circle.

  3. Detroit Lions – 11-5 – They have clinched their Division and a playoff spot. The Lions lost this past week in a controversial ending 20-19 in Dallas to the Cowboys. That doesn’t warrant them falling in our rankings, so we kept them at number three.

  4. Cleveland Browns – 11-5 – The Browns clinched a playoff berth by defeating the New York Jets this week 37-20, and they got to do it in front of their home crowd on Thursday Night Football. They are one of the hottest teams in the league right now as they’ve popped off four straight.

  5. Buffalo Bills – 10-6 – The Bills make a late appearance in our rankings after sneaking by the Patriots 27-21 in Buffalo. They are getting hot at the right time as well, as they’ve now won four in a row, but have yet to clinch a spot in the playoffs as they are down to one more week to make that happen.

First 2 Out:
