The Pro Football Hall of Fame festivities have begun in Canton, Ohio. That is the unofficial beginning to the upcoming NFL football season. With the preseason right around the corner, it was time for us to start the series of predicting each division and their winner from both the NFC and the AFC. We are starting in the NFC with the NFC West, which to me is one of the no-brainers for the upcoming season.
San Francisco 49ers – This is who we having winning the NFC West, and I think only one other team even has a remote chance to challenge that and they will sit at a distant second on this list. Between coaching, scheme, and personnel on both sides of the ball, I just don’t think anyone in this division can compete with the 49ers long-term this year.
Los Angeles Rams – The Rams are the only team in this division this year I think has a legit shot at giving the Niners a run for the top spot, but I don’t think it happens. McVay and company always give themselves a chance, but I think they fall a bit short.
Seattle Seahawks – I don’t think Seattle has an awful year, but I just don’t think they have enough to truly compete for a top spot. They will be a tough opponent who won’t let you look past them each week, especially at home, but they just don’t have enough.
Arizona Cardinals – While I like some of the roster on this Cardinals team, I think Kyler is a bit overvalued by this franchise, but they did do a good job getting him some more weapons. I just think it will take another year for it to gel for any kind of significant progress in the standings.
