NBA: All Credit, No Shade
We argue far too often about the greatest of all-time, especially in the NBA world. Now, debate can be great if it is done with someone who is less emotional, more intelligent, and won’t use belittlement as part of the argument for their chosen player to be considered the greatest of all-time. One of my problems with this debate as it has continued to build over the last couple decades is most people have turned to belittling the other candidates in the discussion and don’t talk real basketball anymore. So, I’m throwing all this out there and there will be no shade thrown, just credit for the group as everyone in the real debate has brought something amazing to the sport over the years.
Steph Curry = The greatest shooter of all-time!
Kobe Bryant = The greatest work ethic of all-time!
LeBron James = The greatest all-around player of all-time!
Michael Jordan = The greatest/most competitive of all-time!
All of those are true and I didn’t belittle any of these players or throw shade of any kind. See how that works. We can appreciate each great player without tearing down another. Sports history is made up of many players bringing their greatness and attributes individually to a sport for the greater good of its overall existence.
