Most Fun College Football Teams To Watch This Season

We just finished week 11 of the 2023 College Football season and I’ve watched an absolute ton of my favorite level of any sport. I don’t just watch my favorite team, I watch a lot of different teams often! I have a clear-cut three teams around the country that I think are the most fun to watch of them all. One is my bias take and why, then the other two are for very specific reasons. I may even throw a few honorable mentions in there too.

1. THE Ohio State Buckeyes – Of course a lot of this is based off of complete bias as they are my home state team and my favorite team of any sport on any level. First and foremost we have Marvin Harrison Jr and if you don’t like watching greatness like that week in and week out, you’re just a hater and clearly don’t understand what you’re seeing. Secondly, the Buckeyes have not had a very good defense in a few years and finally the Silver Bullets are back and that makes it fun to watch for me as we don’t always have to be in a shoot out to win like the past few seasons. That makes the different ways of winning a lot more fun to watch as a fan.

2. Washington Huskies – These guys were picked by a lot in the media and around the country to have a very good season coming in and they have lived up to that billing as they now sit at 10-0 after beating Utah. As long as they stay the course, they have a good as shot as anyone at making the College Football Playoff. They are a team we haven’t heard from in a while so it is exciting to have some new blood to appreciate. Michael Penix Jr is my favorite at the moment to win the Heisman Trophy and he single-handedly can make the Huskies a fun watch, but then you get to add in those Wide Receivers and it makes them that much more fun to watch. The only real downfall of watching them is their defense isn’t that great and will probably be the sole reason they won’t win the whole thing.

3. Oregon Ducks – They have become a staple in these types of “fun to watch” lists since the days of Chip Kelly bringing the Duck to life. Bo Nix is another one of those must watch players, and it helps it is at the quarterback position with the ball in his hands on every offensive play. Oregon just defeated USC in an exciting game 36-27. They are averaging 43 points per game so far this season and in the world of high powered offensive football, that’s just plain fun and amazing! It is a near impossible road for them to get into the College Football Playoff this year, but never say never, but either way they will continue to be fun to watch close out their season and head into Bowl Season.

HONORABLE MENTION:

• Georgia Bulldogs – What isn’t fun about watching a back-to-back national champion with a huge winning streak on the line.

• Texas Longhorns – College Football is a better product when brands like Texas are good and they are. That’s fun to watch them get back, especially with a talent behind center like Quinn Ewers.
