Monday: One Of My Favorite Days
If you’re looking forward to the weekend, you’re doing it wrong. If you’re looking forward to Friday, you’re doing it wrong. If you’re looking forward to a specific day of the week, you’re doing it wrong. If you are only looking forward to your days off, you are doing life wrong. We’ve all heard it our entire lives. Most people look forward to another day and it has historically been Friday or the weekend, because that is when a lot of people don’t work, but this could also just go towards people looking forward to just their days off. It’s sad really. That just says that of the seven days in the week, you look forward to 2.5 of those days. That means out of every month, you’re looking past all butt 10 days. Let’s look at it a different way. If a month has 30 days and you only enjoy 10 of them, that means you’re essentially only happy 33.3% of the time. Making you miserable 66.6% out of each month. What a terrible way to live life.
If you are one of those and aren’t sure how to live a different life, with a different way of thinking, it’s actually quite easy. Find something that you absolutely love to do. Something you already do for free. It could be a passion, a hobby, or a part-time gig you enjoy. Once you find that thing, do whatever you can to make it your everyday. Do whatever you can to make it make money and becoming your everyday living. If you push hard enough, love it like you say you do, you’ll eventually be so successful that you can leave the job you have that makes you dislike over 66% of your time here.
I look back on Facebook memories and see when I used to say things like, “I can’t wait for Friday,” or “Monday sucks!” Once I found my passions in life and how to enjoy what I do, it never really felt like going to work and having bad days just really aren’t a thing anymore. Of course nothing is always peaches and cream, but it is a far cry from what it used to be. I love Mondays now, as I do Tuesdays through Sundays. It took me a while to get here, but once I did, I really came to realize it is easier than you think. Change your mindset and find your passion. Then, make your passion provide for you.
