This was a lot harder than the TV shows list that is coming out in a three part series here soon on JayBird Talks. The fact that I’ve probably seen more movies in my lifetime than full blown TV series, and the fact that I just kept this list to the top five having to narrow down such a long list of possibilities. The number five movie changes way more often than the top two. Regardless, this is my favorite movies of all-time, not best, so your list will be vastly different as well. Without further ado:
#5 – Step Brothers / Talladega Nights – It’s a tie and both are Will Ferrell movies, but they are definitely in the conversation no matter what as my all-time favorites!
#4 – The Bad Boys Movies – The entire trilogy to date comes in at number four on my list as I have made sure to see them all in theaters. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence knock it out of the park each time.
#3 – The Bourne Movies – The entire line of this series comes in at number three for me as I’ve loved these from the original, “The Bourne Identity.” They hit my top five even back then. I love a good CIA, FBI, espionage film and these deliver time and time again.
#2 – For Love of the Game – Kevin Costner and baseball seem to go hand in hand more and more often. Romance and baseball as we watch a pitcher flash through his life in his last pitching performance. This one was another that hit the top five of my list right off the bat.
#1 – Wolf of Wall Street – This amazing movie became my number one after my first time watching it and it has stayed there since. I also love the fact that it is based off of a real guy and a real-life story. Some things were changed for the movie, but not in the way you’d think. They actually took out some of the craziest things, not added some in like we are used to. Incredible!
