“A Surprise For 1st College Football Playoff Rankings”– The College Football Playoff committee has released the first playoff rankings of the season, and there was a small surprise for all. THE Ohio State Buckeyes get voted to number one as they have the best resume thus far. I think most people were expecting either defending champion Georgia or undefeated Michigan at the top.
“Oklahoma Takes Their First L Against An Unranked”– The Sooners have their first loss of the season and it was against an unranked at the time of kickoff Kansas Jayhawks team. They lost 38-33 on the road and now will have to fight the rest of the season for any consideration to get into the playoffs.
“USC and California Leave Defenses At Home” – The Trojans and Bears had a big time offensive battle as Southern Cal beat Cal 50-49. The teams combined for 1,024 total yards as USC moved to 7-2 and California fell to 3-5.
