CFB: The 3 JayBird Talks Week 6 Headlines

  1. “Georgia Heard What Y’all Said & Responded” – The defending back-to-back national champion Bulldogs have heard they were on upset alert this past weekend against the undefeated Kentucky Wildcats. They heard how they look weak and have fallen off. Well, they responded and destroyed the Wildcats to the tune of 51-13 and did so quickly as UGA was leading at halftime 34-7. They are THEM until they lose in my opinion.

  2. “Texas Still Back Despite Red River Rivalry Loss” – Just because you lose a close game in a massive rivalry game doesn’t mean you “aren’t back” like Longhorn fans have to deal with hearing before and after almost every win and/or loss. They are still a Top-25 team and on their way up. It was a great game with two very good teams and programs and that is it. I still don’t think either one is going to win the National Championship.

  3. “The Miami Hurricanes did WHAT!!?” – Take a knee in victory formation and you win. Georgia Tech had no timeouts left and it was over. Instead they run the ball on a normal mid-game play, fumble it away, and Tech goes 74 yards in 25 seconds to win. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like that. Deciding not to use victory formation which is what you work for all week and all game is wild! Head Coach of the Canes Mario Cristobal has acknowledged the stupidity of this decision, kind of. He took away their undefeated season and now have to fight to get back into the ACC championship race as there are three ACC teams still unbeaten.
