“Michigan 3-peats” – The Wolverines are the Big Ten Champions for the third year in a row as they defeated the Iowa Hawkeyes 26-0 and earn the first seed in the upcoming College Football Playoffs.
“Georgia’s Run Comes To An End” – The defending back-to-back National Champion Bulldogs will not be defending their title for a third year in a row. They fell to the Alabama Crimson Tide in the SEC Title game by a final score of 27-24. With the loss UGA has been left out of the College Football Playoffs meaning their will be a new champion for the first time in a few years.
“The College Football Playoff Committee Makes FSU the First Ever” – Florida State is the first ever Power 5 team to win their conference title, remain undefeated, and still get left out of the College Football Playoffs. Instead the committee put in the 1-loss SEC champion Alabama Crimson Tide, making everyone wonder if the games even matter, even at the highest level of the sport. It’s never happened before for a reason and the committee doesn’t care about integrity or answering real questions because next year it all changes and they know the backlash will only last for a moment in time.
