CFB: Georgia's Best Player Out 4-6 Weeks

It has now been announced that the Georgia Bulldog’s star Tight End Brock Bowers is expected to miss 4-6 weeks. He had tightrope surgery on his injured ankle the school announced. The All-American hurt the ankle during the first half of the Bulldogs 37-20 victory over Vanderbilt and did not return to the game. They are expecting him to make a full recovery. UGA remained unbeaten as they went on the road to beat Vandy, but may have lost their best player which would put them in serious jeopardy to make it a 3-peat. Bowers is easily their best offensive player and is widely considered their best overall player across the entire roster. He is not only the top weapon on offense, but when plays breakdown he has the ability to get himself open and become the security blanket for quarterback Carson Beck. The Dawgs sit at 7-0 on the season and they will face the Florida Gators who look forward to taking advantage of the missing weapon. Bowers leads the team in receiving yards with 567, and also has 4 touchdowns on the season. The game against the Gators is scheduled for 3:30pm EST on CBS at a neutral site in Jacksonville at TIAA Bank Field.
